Changing global content width and corner shape on your Instant Site
By default, your Instant Site uses the content width and corner shape of the theme you choose to go with. You can change that by setting the default site-wide content width and/or corner shape that will be applied to all your site pages and sections.
Setting default content width on your site
Content width on a site defines how wide a webpage's main content column is. It affects how easy text is to read and how well the page content fits on different screen sizes.
To set the default content width for your Instant Site:
- From your store admin, go to Website → Edit Site.
- Click Settings at the top and then Site Style.
-
Click Content width, then adjust the default content width for your Instant Site. The preview on the right will update when a width is selected.
- Publish the changes.
Setting default corner shape on your site
Corner shape (also known as border-radius) on a site defines how sharp or rounded the edges are on elements like buttons, images, cards, and input fields. It can help you set the mood and feel of your website and align it with your brand.
To set the default corner shape for your Instant Site:
- From your store admin, go to Website → Edit Site.
- Click Settings at the top and then Site Style.
-
Click Corner shape, then adjust the default corner shape for your Instant Site. The preview on the right will update when a shape is selected.
- Publish the changes.
Global corner shape is applied only to those elements that have the “Default” shape chosen in the Design tab of the editor.
